FireClass Safe Classroom System
FIRE EVACUATION
Schools are quite diverse in their occupancy and therefore the fire detector should suit the environment, a normal classroom is obviously quite different to a physics laboratory or a workshop.
During unoccupied periods, a different set of rules may apply when the detection system will need to be at its most sensitive.
Disruption to the school day as a result of unwanted alarms can be critical, especially during examinations and so the reliability factor is extremely important when selecting a suitable system.
INVACUATION SYSTEM
Invacuation is the opposite to evacuation. You find refuge inside a building during an emergency.
School management have a responsibility to consider the safety of Pupils in various situations.
Some School buildings have unique situations that lead to management considering risks that Pupils may be exposed to immediately outside their building.
An invacuation (with or without lockdown) may be deemed the most appropriate course of action if an incident occurs inside or outside the Schools buildings & grounds and which renders an evacuation unsafe.
Staff, pupils, students, service users, visitors etc would be expected to stay in a designated safe lockdown area inside until advised otherwise by the Emergency Services.
FireClass Safe Classroom System is a customizable invacuation alarm which alerts and guides users to lockdown safe and securely. The product combines two safety systems in one: invacuation and fire detection.
